Feasibility of your project

So, before moving too far ahead with a design project, we can prepare a Feasibility Report that includes:

Surgery Requirements: this clarifies your needs in areas such as work, administrative and patient requirements for now and the future.
Planning Considerations: for your prospective premises, assessing council requirements and any special issues specific to your project.
Estimates: approximate costs to help you set aside a budget for building and/or refurbishment.
Feasibility: summary recommendations on the feasibility of your surgery at the proposed location.

A Case Study

I recently had a client (actually three partners) who had just bought the practice they had been working in from the retiring dentist. One partner was very ambitious and wanted the achieve the very most out of the practice. The youngest partner was keen to secure his future and wanted the best for the practice. The third partner could see the views of the other partners and was happy to go along for the ride!

So the questions they were asking themselves were:

Do we expand into the rear of the practice (which was currently being subleased)?
Do we keep the sublease for the income and extend out the back into the carpark?
Do we add a second storey?
Do we demolish the whole building and create a new purpose built practice?
Do we sell and buy and/or build somewhere else?

A lot of BIG questions! But where to find the answers? The partners engaged us to a feasiblity report.

I investigated each option from a local authority and also a construction point of view and provided them with a breakdown including:

possiblity/probability of approvals
budget estimates for the each option
independant recommendations

How much is the Feasibility Report?

You can get our Feasibility Report for your proposed project for a fixed fee of $2,000 (plus GST).

This is how it works.

Step 2. We will email you a sample of our Feasibility Report and will talk to you about your requirements. We will formalise our offer to you in writing, including the fixed fee and proposed dates.

There are no costs to you to reach this stage.

Step 3. You accept our offer, and we will organise to come and see you* to discuss your project further and have a look at the premises.

Step 4. We proceed with your Feasibility Report.
