Terri Slough, has written a wonderful a article about the new trend in surgery design that is all about making a visit to the dentist a pampering experience as well.
We see the traditional dental practice model of ‘drill, fill and bill’ fading as dentistry progresses into new technologies, biological treatment approaches and contemporary customer service. Not surprisingly, it is the latter aspect that is offering the greatest results, as seen in the emerging and flourishing patient-centric business model of “spa dentistry”. Here the focus is on patient comfort through an infusion of the dental practice environment.
